GATEFOLD SLEEVE = FAIR

Cat claws have badly damaged the spine of this LP (see photos). Otherwise it is in very good condition, with some minor general wear, mainly to edges, and corners, but no seam splits. Name written to bottom of rear of sleeve. No major creases. Original manufacturer's "Made in Great Britain" rubber stamp on rear of sleeve. Spine badly damaged, as previously noted, and text now mainly not legible.

Condition of discs as stated above. Lustrous vinyl. Some minor visible spindle marks. No skips, jumps, sticking, warps, or writing on labels. Very good sound quality throughout, with some minor occasional surface noise. A very listenable LP indeed. Tested on a Thorens turntable.

Condition of unlaminated gatefold sleeve as stated above. Badly damaged spine - otherwise OK.

Supplied in original plain white inner sleeves. These are both in Good condition, with seam splits to both lower edges, and some age-related discolouration to both.

* Poor condition of spine of sleeve reflected in the low Buy It Now price *

GRADING:

All records are graded using the UK ‘Record Collector’ format:

MINT (M):

The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
