Description
Small Faces "From The Beginning" DECCA LK4879. 1967 Mono original LP.
Red unboxed Decca label with the mid 60's "groove" (see scan). Sleeve laminated on front matte on rear. Plain sleeve variant not flipback. Includes original inner bag.
A great playing example of this classic early Small Faces platter..
Run off groove matrices are -
Sde one - XARL 7881 8B
Side two - XARL 7882 8A
Condition: Sleeve is EX, just some small seam creases, some discolouration to edges of rear sleeve, one single 1 cm nick on rear lip, otherwise still nice with clean images and fully intact seams and laminate. The LP itself is a nice playing EX. It plays through without any scratch disturbance or distortion. There are no deep scratches only moderate levels of surface scuffs and light hairlines etc, still looks fairly clean and makes for a good listening experience. Some spindle marks but not "abused" looking , ...obviously played and loved... but carefully!. . It is in better condition than usual for this album, although obviously not mint...this album hardly ever is.... since it is such a great album!!
