Description
Small Faces LP - Ogdens' Nut Gone Flake - on lilac Immediate label. Original UK first pressing from 1968, catalogue no IMLP 012, matrix numbers IMLP 012-1L and IMLP 012-2L.

The record is in EX- condition. It plays extremely well and sounds great for the most part, despite clearly having been played a good number of times.There is some light crackling, mainly only audible between tracks and during quiet parts, most notably on side 2. There are some light surface marks, and a few very light scratches, although only one causes any problems. It is very small, probably only about 1/8" and almost runs along the groove, but unfortunately it does cause two skips, one after the other. Apart from the light crackle and the occasional click and pop, this is the only major fault. The labels are clean and free from wiring or other defects, other than the good number of spindle marks that exist.
The circular fold out sleeve is EX. There are no tears, only one small light crease (which can only be seen when it is tilted in the light) on the front at the edge near the "C" of the word Celebrated. A previous owner has written his or her initials at the top of the front, as the picture shows. The original price (37/9 i.e. 37 shillings and ninepence - approximately £1.89!!!) is written on the back of the sleeve (the bit with 1lb Box on it). It looks as if this is written in pencil, and could be erased. I have not done this, as I feel it is part of the record's provenance!
I understand it originally came with a circular polythene inner sleeve, although this is not included here.
Overall, a fairly well preserved copy of a classic album. Although I do not want to deter serious bidders from bidding, I have tried to point out all its defects for the sake of accuracy.
