UK first press Mono on pale lilac IMMEDIATE labels. RARE!
IMLP 012 (1968).
With the text on Side 1 labels:

One of the all time greatest brit-psych albums ever created. Great example. Nice heavyweight vinyl.
Complex fold out G&L circular sleeve shows only nominal age and slightest wear. The fragile (tiny) spine and edges are all beautifully intact with no loss or repairs! This one is one of the better ones out there. The only slight flaw is a darkened sticker mark (stain) at the top of the front cover sleeve.
The only flaw about the vinyl, is that the record sticks when 'Rene' is played. It looks lke a very slight scratch, but on my B&O hi-fi the lightweight, sensitive stylus always sticks here. It may play on someone else's hi-fi kit without any issues. So, because of this I am grading the vinyl at VG+/Ex- It plays brilliantly throughout otherwise, and there are only the very, very lightest of hairline marks on the vinyl. No bad scratches apart from the one I mentioned above. Such a shame - but on a positive note, it does mean someone can get this complete undamaged MONO copy for a lot less than the high prices these MONO Ogden's command in the marketplace.
Sleeve grades EXCELLENT (EX) to EXCELLENT PLUS (EX+) condition. First MONO sleeves are slightly less 'vibrant' in colour, and more earthy in their tone. Also the 'patent code' is different on the back cover. This one reads as follows: 'U.K. PATENT APPLICATION NO. 21639/68.' Sleeve is made and printed by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd.
Vinyl grades VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+). ASIDE FROM THE FLAW MENTIONED, THIS WOULD OTHERWISE GRADE AS EXCELLENT (EX). There are some visible spindle marks on the labels. KT tax code embossed either side of the spindle hole on the Side 2 label.
Some very sparse light surface marks on the vinyl but it plays through great with no issues other than some background noise in quieter places between tracks. The mono mix is particularly coveted regarding this album.
