Description

Massively rare Ogden's 1st pressing in mono AND on lilac Immediate label.
IT IS NOT A 1ST PRESSING UNLESS ITS ON THE LILAC LABEL! Immediate IMLP 012
Record is in very good condition but obviously has age related marks, it is 50 years old!!  Plays as it should with no intrusive crackling, jumps or sticks. The cover is in excellent condition with no tears, creases or writing AND is still joined in one piece to fold out the 4 connected sleeves. (Usually this cardboard "hinge" is ripped or torn so it is rare to find an original 1968 1st press in this condition.) There is some age related, patina brown staining on the rear cover, see picture. I mention this only to give a full description as it in no way detracts from the visual aesthete of the cover design.

I've owned this album from new and its been stored upright in bookshelfs with my other 1500+ lp collection all its life. If you have read this far you will know that this is the genuine, almost impossible to get lilac label mono 1st press and my start price reflects the value of this record so it will be of interest to the serious collector.
