On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Small Faces called 'Odgens Nut Gone Flake' and is a MONO UK 1968 1st pressing!!!! THIS IS AN EXTREMELY RARE MONO 1ST PRESSING!!!! IT IS ALSO IN BRILLIANT CONDITION (THE COVER IN PARTICULAR IS ONE OF THE BEST I HAVE EVER SEEN)!!!! THIS IS THE 1ST MONO PRESSING OF THIS LP ON THE LILAC/GREY IMMEDIATE LABEL, AND 1ST PRESS GARROD & LOFTHOUSE FOLD-OUT COVER!!!! THE MOTHER AND STAMPER CODES ARE ALSO VERY EARLY - BEING 1/R AND 1/T!!!! THIS IS A RARE OPPORTUNITY TO OWN A 1ST MONO PRESSING OF THIS LEGENDARY LP FROM 1968!!!! DONT MISS THIS RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is an ORIGINAL Immediate UK 1st MONO pressing from 1968 and is in BRILLIANT condition (especially the 'Garrod & Lofthouse' Fold-out Cover - it is one of the BEST I have EVER seen)!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is IMLP 012 on the Lilac/Grey 1st Press Immediate label (see picture) and is a UK MONO 1968 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Small Faces at their best!!!! Any fan of Small Faces, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in GREAT condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has a STUNNING shine to it - and although there are a few marks - most are only visible under light!!!! The vinyl has 1 small scuff type mark, only VERY few small hairlines (mostly only visible under bright light), 1 light NON SOUNDING scuffline, a couple of light surface marks (again only visible under light) and only a few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual!!!! The record plays well with NO sticking, NO jumps, NO distortion, NO groovewear, and NO nasty loud crackle!!!! There is also a slight low level background crackle/sound only noticeable on the gaps, run on grooves etc (NOT in the music) - though it is ALWAYS very low level!!!! The record plays VERY well generally - with only a VERY few occassional clicks/pops in a VERY few places!!!! The only real sound fault on the whole record is from the small scuff type mark mentioned before - which does a few pops - though this is on one of the loudest parts of the LP - so it really doesnt distract much at all!!!! Both sides play REALLY well with CRYSTAL CLEAR undistorted music!!!! The record must grade Very Good (Minus) if not better (STRICTLY and PROPERLY graded - NOT trashed)!!!! Believe me - this not a 'trashed' VG record - it is ACCURATELY and CORRECTLY graded!!!! It stills plays well and still retains a VERY nice shine!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The STUNNINGLY designed Garrod & Lofthouse 1st Press Cover is in STUNNING condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, all the circles are perfectly joined (NO splits, NO fraying), barely ANY creases AT ALL (beautiful flat cover), NO rubbing and NO writing!!!! There is also NO Grubbyness and NO yellowing!!!! This is one of the BEST EVER covers I have seen and MUST grade Excellent+ if not better!!!! Apparently the previous owner told me that when he bought the LP - he found it so difficult to put the record back in/out of the sleeve that he kept the sleeve separately to the record and put the record in a plain white cover to use for playing. And this explains exactly why this sleeve is in such SUPERB condition - because it has barely been touched since the day it was purchased!!!! THIS IS A MEGA RARE 1ST MONO PRESSING OF THIS LEGENDARY LP AND VERY HARD TO FIND!!!! DONT MISS THIS RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
