There are some very slight crease marks around the corners and edges.    However, as you can see from the photos, the laminated plastic cover has ensured that the original photo of the Small Faces still looks great.     

On the back there is some slight browning near to the edges.    Also at the bottom there is a light brown mark where a stickered was once removed.    This aside the cover is in excellent condition and still retains its original quality.

As you can see from the photos, both sides of this famous dark red Decca label are still in great condition.

VINYL APPEARANCE

EXCELLENT -

On the A-side there is one abrasive mark on track one 'Shake'.    Also there are some occasional surface marks on both sides.   However there are no major scratches on either side and the overall vinyl quality is still great.

AUDIO QUALITY

A Side

VERY GOOD +

There is some very occasional and light background popping.    Also near to the end of the first track 'Shake' the record does jump slightly on two occasions.   This jumping is an isolated incident and the Small Faces sound great throughout the other five songs on this side.

B Side

EXCELLENT 

In places there is some hardly noticeable background popping.        However this does not in anyway spoil the sound delivered by the Small Faces, which is still very special.

Sam and I have established a reputation as a TRUSTED supplier of  RARE vinyl, based upon HONEST and THOROUGH descriptions of our items.  Together we have undertaken the task of selling our father’s extensive record collection, which he has amassed during his time as a DJ and MUSIC CRITIC.  It’s a considerable, and unique vinyl collection of albums and singles with many rare items included.  In addition to the known rare records there are many DEMO and PROMOTIONAL items, which were not available for general purchase making them highly collectable. 

The chronology of the collection stretches from the early 1960s to the early 1980s.   Within this period, there is a concentration of records released between 1965 and 1969 - a seminal era for music that is reflected by its collectability.  Although the spectrum of musical genre is varied, this collection heavily features PSYCHEDELIC, FREAKBEAT, PUNK, MOTOWN and NORTHERN SOUL.  All our items have a low start price of £4.99, because we believe that each will reach its true market value  ~  This is thanks, largely to our loyal client base we have aquired for consistently listing HIGHLY COLLECTABLE Vinyl.   Fresh RARE records usually start on a Thursday, ending 10 days later on the Sunday Afternoon/Evening.

We have a data-based collection, using the RARE RECORD PRICE GUIDES' grading scale (If you are unaware of this grading system please don’t hesitate to contact me and I will reply as soon as possible with the guides description). As you can see in the description there is a grading given for VINYL and AUDIO QUALITY.  This is necessary because a record may seem poor quality when viewed, but when played the AUDIO QUALITY is often excellent.  Conversely the VINYL QUALITY may seem excellent but when played the AUDIO QUALITY can be quite poor.    

** NOTE ~ If there is any information on this item currently missing i.e - There is no 'AUCTION PLAYER', when stated in the 'AUDIO QUALITY GRADING' there should be at the bottom of the listing.  These changes will usually rectified on FRIDAY MORNING ~ This is usually the cause of any 'REVISIONs' which are stated.
