SMALL FACES - SMALL FACES RARE Mono Vinyl LP VG ++/VG unboxed (revised listing)

	£		99
	$		131

Opportunity to own this rare pressing of the SMALL FACES Classic 1966 Self titled Debut album.
The Matrix numbers are :
Side A : XARL 7217 4A Side B : XARL 7217 3A
The cover does have slight creasing and edge wear, but the laminate is in tact.  The reverse does show signs of ring wear with a small tear third a of the way down on the left hand side.  Naturally there are signs of wear and aging but overall I would say a very good + for a 51 year old record. The labels on the record are excellent with hardly a spindle mark to notice.  The vinyl is visually clean with no noticeable marks/scratches as far as I can see.  I have just had this album cleaned (10/12/18) and I now have to revise the play condition : There is some very slight background noise and noticeable in the quieter moments and in between tracks.  However, after cleaning any possible distractions have been alleviated and it has always been a good bright sounding copy I would say this is stunning, it's like listening to it for the first time.  I am now thinking twice about selling it!  It has a crisp and punchy mono sound.   Steve Marriot's voice jumps out, and his powerful deep soul vocals, particularly evident on one of my favorite tracks 'You Need Loving' for instance, is as clear and sharp (even earsplitting) as ever! I would say that overall this is now Very Good + or Excellent!
