Sleeve is NM- ( looks good, some light creasing, see scan for best idea) Vinyl is VG+ (not that it really matters)
THIS RECORD IS A LEGENDARY HOAX, THERE IS NO REAL RECORDED SMEGMA RECORD.THE BAND MADE IT AS A JOKE
Ok so the band was REAL and had members that would later be a line up in the band GANG GREEN but the record WAS NOT! The band was competing in the local WBCN Radio battle of the Bands and decided since they did not have an official record like some of the other bands in the competition they would hand make a handful of copies by taking some crappy old pop records and glueing a new label on them and making a cool sleeve and SELLING them to unknowing people going to the show. One of the great hoax records ever made!! And the story is 100% true (a good friend of mine saw them selling these in front of the Rat club) they took the money!! Awesome. So here is an original copy sent to a local boston fanzine for review in 1983. Not many of these were made and less are still around this being only the second copy I have ever heard of. This is a true piece of Boston punk history and most likely the only chance you will get to own one.
