You are bidding for a CLASSIC US 50'S ROCK 'N' ROLL / R&B 78 RPM single by SMILEY LEWIS called I HEAR YOU KNOCKING backed with BUMPITY BUMP T issued on the IMPERIAL record label in the US in 1955, cat number IM 572 (PLUM AND SILVER LABEL). The record is in excellent condition with excellent labels .The record has some wear with slight scuffs and surface scratches but plays with no jumps and clicks and a minimum of surface noise. CLASSIC US ROCK AND ROLL / R&B from SMILEY LEWIS with the CLASSIC ORIGINAL version of the ROCKING JIVE track that topped the R*B charts and was covered by everyone from GALE STORM to LITTLE RICHARDwho alsoo had hits with the song, even later in the 60's it was a hit for DAVE EDMUNDS. CLASSIC ROCK AND ROLL / JUMP JIVE . RARE in decent condition, from my own collection.
