You are bidding for a CLASSIC US 50'S ROCK 'N' ROLL /JUMP JIVE 78 RPM single by SMILEY LEWIS called SCHOOL DAYS ARE BACK AGAIN backed with BAD LUCK BLUES issued on the IMPERIAL record label in the US in 1957, cat number 5478 (RED AND SILVER LABEL). The record is in excellent condition with excellent labels .The record has little wear few slight surface scuffs and few slight surface scratches and plays with no jumps and clicks and a minimum of surface noise. CLASSIC US ROCK AND ROLL / R&B from SMILEY LEWIS with TWO CLASSIC ROCKING JIVE tracks, CLASSIC NEW ORLEANS R&B from this ROCKING BLUES PIONEER who had a number of self written hits which were later covered by other artists andbecame huge hits, ELVIS recorded ONE NIGHT, GALE STORM and DAVE EDMUNDS had big hits with I HEAR YOU KNOCKING, while FATS DOMINO HIT IT BIG WITH blue monday and also copied his shuffling rocking style and had a string of hits. RARE in decent condition, from my own collection.
