THE SMITHS
THE WORLD WON'T LISTEN
33rpm 12" vinyl record LP
ROUGH TRADE
ROUGH 101
** WHITE LABEL PROMO **
Very rare item, this is the white label promotional vinyl that was sent out prior to the release of the record. Supplied to a select few radio stations, DJs and retailers, very few of these disc were made.
The disc has a completely plain white label on both sides, not markings to indicate it's content... the music obviously gives the game away... without listening the only indicator would be the matrix numbers, which are ROUGH 101... which is the catalogue number for the official release.
It's a shame this wasn't supplied in a picture sleeve... it is just a disc with a white label, nothing more... not the most visually exciting item... the picture supplied is of the label, and as you can see, there is very little to see!
The disc does have several surface marks, no feelable marks, however the surface marks do effect the playback with background marks, with some clicks and pops... ... I suppose if you already have this record, on vinyl or CD, you already have the opportunity to hear the music... this is more for putting in your Smiths collection to show off with pride when ever you can make the opportunity arise.
Plain generic sleeve
Disc we would have to grade as VG
