The Signifying Monkey / Listen to Me Baby
Hard-to-find two-sided record from 1955 - priced at around $300 in some circles - mine starts at ONLY $24 ! Rest assured that I am not trying to shame other sellers into lowering their prices - the 45 is well worth those high prices - just that I'm aware of the economy and want you to still enjoy the things you like, but at a great price. "Signifying Monkey" is bluesy rocker; the flip is rockabilly, similar to the early Elvis. Push marks are clearly visible on labels. Moderate surface noise. Light and limited scuffs, marks, and 2 manufacturer dimples. I test played it on my Technics to very charming result - I could taste the 1950's. I used played this record at a Spring/Summer cook-out and even the concentrated stoic cook started bouncing a bit. Great style. Has wear but I understand it goes for hundreds in a certain condition and others are selling them pretty high. I would like you to have a great cook out year with this. Posted multiple pics with ZOOM to offer forthright representation of actual 45, thus, as seen as is. I guess I'd grade it VG to VG+ condition, but i'm not a professional. Will ship asap if paid likewise. Thank you.
