Description

SMOKEY SMOTHERS -- SINGS THE BACKPORCH BLUES VINTAGE ALBUM. Condition is Used. King Records; LP 779; Mono; 1962. Using the Goldmine Rating Standards, I graded the record visually as a Very Good+ (VG+) to Near Mint (NM). The record is nearly perfect. The surface of the record is highly reflective with no signs of surface wear or any scuffs or scratches. There is no visible warping and except for a few barely visible spindle marks and a light scuffing near the album number (779), the label is excellent. Please note that this record was visually inspected and was not played. I rated the cover Very Good (VG). The cover wear is mostly due to storage and some human handling. On the front bottom of the album cover there is visible ring wear. The back of the cover shows some discoloration towards the edges. The seam at the front right-top corner of the cover is split for about 6 inches and on the bottom for about 2 inches. The left corner of the cover is worn for about an inch. The inner sleeve is creased but not ripped.
