Smokie – Midnight CafeSmokie are an English rock band from Bradford, Yorkshire. The band found success at home as well as the rest of the world after teaming up with Mike Chapman and Nicky Chinn. Along the way they have had a number of line-up changes and were still actively touring in 2012. Their most famous hit singles include "If You Think You Know How to Love Me", "Don ’t Play Your Rock ‘n’ Roll to Me", "Lay Back in the Arms of Someone". Their most popular hit single, "Living Next Door to Alice", peaked at No. 5 on the UK Singles Chart and, in March 1977, reached No. 25 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Side One: Something’s Been Making Me Blue; Wild Wild Angels; Poor Lady (Midnight Baby); When My Back Was Against The Wall; Make Ya Boogie.
Side Two: Stranger; What Can I Do; Little Lucy; Going Home.
The album is on RAK Records, SRAK-520. Matrix side one: SRAK 520 A-2 (stamped). Matrix side two: SRAK 520 B-1 (stamped).
Released in 1976. UK pressing. Stereo. Factory Sample not for sale sticker on side one label.

Condition: (as Record Collector’s grading system)
Vinyl side 1: excellent (has one or two light superficial surface marks that don’t affect the audio in any way, plays great with no jumps, sticks or clicks and minimal crackle).
Vinyl side 2: excellent (has one or two light superficial surface marks that don’t affect the audio in any way, plays great with no jumps, sticks or clicks and minimal crackle).
Cover (fully laminated): excellent (has some small edge creases and a light crease front bottom right).
Comes with the original lyric inner sleeve in good condition - has splits on all edges!
I have tried to give my honest opinion as to the condition. I will give a complete refund to the buyer if they are not happy with the record.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM:
MINT: I very rarely use the mint grade. Only records that are still sealed or records that even under the strongest of lights are completely unmarked. Also covers that are unmarked/uncreased in any way and still look brand new.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
