Description

This is the one and only original 1st press from the 1950's, Snaketime Series by Moondog. The condition is like the few other originals I have seen on ebay. Not very good, but as rare as this album is, it is likely the only way you will find one. The cover has all three sides taped. The record has some scratches and scuffs. My copy plays out fine on my Kenwood KD-2055 turntable as well as my Dual 1019 turntable. Make no mistake. This album does make noise when played. But, even so, I have enjoyed owning it for many years. See the photos for actual condition. The photos of the record itself have my reflection in them due to the fact that the record is so shiny. I tried to eliminate it but I couldn't. So, they look a little discolored but aren't. According to the other listings of this original album, it is rumoured that there are supposed to be only 50 known playable copies on the planet. Wether that is true or not, this is a super rare album and a diamond in the rough for the serious collector. Re-issues are fine but to own the original is the ultimate!
