Very clean pressing, released in 1982. Don’t miss this legendary melody punk classic from Los Angeles. Old eBay prices: $234 + $90 + $85 + $81 + €79. Their second 7” in original nuke sleeve is maybe their best ever 7” release. The A-sider goes by the the title ‘1945’ and is perfect West Coast punk, topped with excellent lyrics, superb guitar riffs and a fantastic singer. ‘Playpen’ on the flip is a better/newer version than the take on their first 7” release. The third track of this early SOCIAL DISTORTION classic is a, very well-done, cover version of ‘Under My Thumb’. You are bidding on the rare 1982 pressing with original black/yellow radioactive labels in its amazing Hiroshima-Nuclear-Bomb sleeve. Pressed on the ‘13th Floor’ label (catalogue number SD 4501). L.A.-Punk-Rock vom Allerfeinsten, mid-tempo, dafür genialste Gitarren (sowas gab’s nur in Los Angeles…) und sehr eingängige trax: das vom Rodney-Sampler bekannte 1945, eine tolle Coverversion von Under my Thumb und eine neue Version von Playpen. Sehr gut.

Mailing / Versand: all records will be sent in plain white 7“ sleeves outside of the picture sleeves to avoid any seam splits (alle Platten werden in einer neutralen weißen 7“ Hülle außerhalb des Plattencovers verschickt, um Beschädigungen am Originalcover zu vermeiden). All records will be shipped in special record mailers. Two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending. Ebenso werden alle Platten entsprechend stabil in speziellen Schallplatten-Versandkartons mit zwei dicken Pappkartons verpackt.
