ABOUT MY GRADING FOR CDs – VINYL – DVDs – VHS – Cassettes:

ALL OF MY GRADES ARE VISUAL, NOT BY PLAYING!

I am a personal collector, not a professional business. My partner and I intend to list hundreds and hundreds of items a month. It would be impossible for us to list hundreds of items and play each and every one of them. So that's why we only grade VISUALLY!

We DO NOT clean items before sending them, dust, fingerprints, scuffing, etc are all included in our grade.

CD/DVD/Cassette cases are replaced only if they are broken, have major cracks or really deep scratches in them. Scuffing/scratching is not something I replace cases for (most of the CDs I sell are used, so this would be a normal to have some).

We try our hardest to modestly grade our vinyl, we use + and – to indicate if something is on the higher end of a grade, or lower end of a grade.

Grading Table for Vinyl:

SS: Still Sealed, a copy that is still sealed in the original shrink.

NM: Near mint, an extremely nice copy which is nearly perfect, with no more than one or two minor (barely noticeable) blemishes.

EX: Excellent, a very nice copy which may have some light marks, but overall still looks very nice.

VG: Very Good, your average well cared for copy. May have a few light marks, scuffing or dust, but overall is a nice playable copy.

G: Good. Will have lots of light marks or scuffing, will probably have a good amount of noise or popping when played.

Nothing will be graded lower than G and be sold on my account unless it is something that is extremely hard to find or unique.

LP's are typically shipped in LP mailers with a stiffener, or bubble wrap. 7”/45's are usually shipped between 3 pieces of stiff cardboard with bubble wrap. CD's are shipped in bubble mailers, or cardboard CD mailers with bubble wrap. DVDs are shipped in bubble mailers.

I ship via the United States Postal Service (USPS) in all of my auctions unless otherwise stated. Standard Shipping is USPS Media Mail on most vinyl unless otherwise stated. Standard shipping for CD's/DVDs is USPS First Class for single orders, USPS Media Mail for combined orders. I do not offer expedited shipping on LP's at this time. I am not responsible for any damages that occur during shipment.

Please be advised that if you are ordering from me and you are not in the United States I have no way of tracking your package unless you are willing to pay for the extra cost of sending it as Registered Mail. My standard method of shipping for international orders does not include this. USPS does not offer parcel tracking on international shipments otherwise.
