(PLEASE DO NOT USE EBAY CHECKOUT, you will be sent an invoice. Feel free to ask any questions regarding the item or shipping)
This long out of print 7" is a rare find and a must for collectors. It's a total cover of the classic 7 SECONDS Skins, Brains & Guts EP by Thurston Moore of SONIC YOUTH and his friends. Aside from being a fascinating release on it's own, it's reportedly limited to 400 copies and was released on Moore's Ecstatic Peace label. Includes the insert. Everything is identical to the 7 SECONDS version that was released on Alternative Tentacles except for a few changes that are duly noted. This was recorded in Vicki Peterson's (of the Bangles) home studio and engineered by her and Dave Peterson. Vinyl is unplayed, sleeve and insert are in very good condition.
MIKE WATT of the MINUTEMEN/fIREHOSE (bass)
DAVE MARKEY of SIN 34/PAINTED WILLIE/ANARCHY 6 (drums)
DEZ CADENA of BLACK FLAG/MISFITS (guitar)
THURSTON MOORE of SONIC YOUTH/CHELSEA LIGHT MOVING (vocals)
Tracks:
Skins, Brains & Guts
No Authority
Redneck Society
Baby Games
Racism Sucks
This Is My Life
Anti-Klan
I Hate Sports
We're Gonna Fight (VICKI PETERSON sings back-up on this track)
Will combine shipping on like items. From where I am located, Priority Mail is more expensive to send to California than it is to Vermont. Please keep that in mind when considering a bid on one of my items. All vinyl is shipped in proper mailers and packed well. I include freebies when I have them.
