Socrates Drank The Conium was a brilliant band from Greece. Their sound can be described as a trippy and bluesy heavy psych, with minor progressive rock influences. Very guitar driven. Imagine a mix of a heavier version of Cream and Jimi Hendrix with May Blitz and Mountain. Very cool!

Great greek bluesy heavy psych that sounds between UFO, The Damnation of Adam Blessing, Steppenwolf, Jimi Hendrix and surprisingly enough, they also has some stuff that sounds reminiscent of late american heavy psych like Jeff Lieberman, Euphoria and Truth and Janey. So basically this guys were ahead to that sound. Also, the "progressive rock" influences are (fortunately) insignificant at best, but then later they started to go more and more progressive and less psychedelic and hardrocking.
