Description
super rare copy of SOLGER 7" here! this is the original release from 1981.here's the story on this one.just before going to england(from seattle where i'm originally from) in july of 1981 paul solger (guitar player) sold me about 20 copies of this record to take with me.i was able to unload a few copies around london but not all of them.the last few copies were given to my friend richard,he tried to sell the copies at shows of his punk band with no luck (also in 1981) i guess no one knew about this band & there was a hell of alot of other punk records coming out.richard visited me in amsterdam back in 1997 & gave the 5 copies back to me,i sold 4 of them via my punk records small mail order list (my pre-ebay record selling) this is the copy i kept for my own collection due to the hand written labels.just recently i contacted old friend kyle nixon (singer) and sent him pics asking if he recognised the writing on labels.he informed me that it was'nt his but paul's writing.this is the only copy he ever saw with hand written labels.paul must have have felt like experimenting on one copy or perhaps was a little bored one day.i can honestly say that this is the only known copy with hand written labels by a band member that was done at the time of record's release.so if you still need this record here's your copy or perhaps you already have it & would like the collectors dream version.also included here is a photo i had made from a slide of paul solger at the showbox in seattle (summer 1980) opening for BLACK FLAG.still have the slide but this is the original pic i had printed in 1980.sleeve is VG++ due to light wear & writing on cover (price richard wrote) and one small tear on right side (middle) record is EX+ was only played a couple times.shipping within europe is $10.00 & shipped to the rest of the world is $13.00.these prices include registered shipping because i will not ship this unregistered due to the value.i can also ship 1 more 7" with this for the same price.WAIT UNTIL YOU RECIEVE MY INVOICE BEFORE PAYPING. see my OTHER AUCTIONS for more rare punk records & memorabilia.paypal only please.good luck & thanks for l@@king!! WILL BE LISTING MORE SEATTLE PUNK STUFF ON SUNDAY!
