It's on the UK Fontana label and is entitled 'Recorded Live At The Craw-Daddy Club, Richmond, London' by Sonny Boy Williamson and The Yardbirds..
It's a mono recording and the catalogue number is TL 5277 (681 527 TL). It was released originally in 1965.
OUTER SLEEVE - This is an original sleeve which is laminated on the front and is in great condition. The front of the sleeve shows very minor wear. The rear of the sleeve which features a pasted panel over the entirety of the rear sleeve again shows some very minor wear and very slight discolouration. There is some blue and black ballpen writing in the top rear right hand corner which states 'DAVID 1.1.66 CHRISTOPHER). The edges and spine are in great condition. The wording along the spine is 100% readable. The sleeve notes are by Horst Lippmann. I've graded the sleeve Ex.
INNER BAG - Plain white die cut paper type with clear plastic inner. There are some minor creases. It states at the bottom of the sleeve on one side 'BRITISH PATENTS No. 800513 FOREIGN PATENTS PENDING - MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN'. The inner bag is in Ex- condition.
RECORD - The record is in superb condition. It appears to have been played a few times. There are some superficial marks on each side. It plays through well on both sides with some minor surface noise and some one or two pops and clicks on both sides. There are no jumps on any of the tracks on either side..
LABELS - The labels are the original textured black and silver Fontana UK labels. There are some spindle marks on both sides around the hole. It states on the labels - 'SONNY BOY WILLIAMSON (vocal & mouth-harp) accompanied by THE YARDBIRDS' - is that cool or what? The labels are in fine condition with no damage. The matrix numbers on the run-off grooves are - side one - 681527 IL = 1 = 420 1 11 - side two - 681527 2L//1 420 1 11. I've graded the record as Ex which I believe is very fair.
I try to grade everything very conservatively and I believe that the winner of this auction will not be disappointed. I guarantee everything I sell. It will be difficult to find this record again.
