Sonny Landreth - Blues Attack (Blues Unlimited 5012), 1981
Extremely rare and hard to find in decent condition, this album by the great blues guitarist Sonny Landreth is a must-have for blues fans and collectors. The covers of most copies of this LP are usually in crappy condition due to the tendency for ring-wear due to the color & type of paper and adhesive used. This copy is primo! Nice!
Musicians are Landreth on vocals, guitar & mandolin with backing from Cleveland Chenier (rub-board), CJ Thompson Chenier (sax), Mel Melton (harp), Dave Ranson (bass, guitar), Robert Peter (drums), Jerry Conrad (organ), Merlin Fontenot (fiddle) and Buckwheat Doral (organ). Great Loooooziana swamp-rockin' blues.
Record is Near Mint; cover is Near Mint.
All records are visually graded unless stated otherwise.
