Sonny Parker & Gladys Hampton Blues Boys Disgusted Blues b/w She Gets My Soul On Fire 7" single on Peacock 5-1620 from 1953. Both sides were written by Sonny Parker. The matrix #'s are 45-14870-D1/45-14871-D1.  (I had offered this 45 for sale previously, but the bidder placed a bid in error and we cancelled the transaction, so here's a second chance to those of you who were interested in this 45)

PLEASE NOTE: I have well over 200 45's up for auction this week, which came from an amazing collection of vintage Capitol, Liberty, and some smaller labels that are a mix of commercial and PROMO copies from the mid-1950’s including rock, pop, rockabilly, doo wop and R&B. It appears that this collection came from someone who worked in the industry during the mid-50’s, and with the overall condition of these 45’s, it appears they may have been played a few times and just stored away. There may be some grease pencil markings in the dead wax, which may be quality control notations. With this said, please make sure you check them all out! If you win multiples, I'll combine them into one package to save you $$$ on S/H!!!

The vinyl on this 45 is in good (A-side) - very good (B-side) condition with a few whispy sleeve marks, light scratches and background noise (still not too bad for a 58-yeard old piece o' vinyl). There's flaking around the A-side spindle hole to about 1/5th of the area. There's a 29 cent yellow ink stamp to the A-side label. This is a really RARE & COOL Sonny Parker collectible, make sure you bid today!!!
