Description

This one is a stereo issue of Sonny Rollins' SONNY ROLLINS IN JAPAN. First issued in Japan by Victor in 1973. Comes with insert and OBI. This one is an original LP, not a reissue. Recorded live at Nakano Sun-Plaza, Tokyo, September 30, 1973. Has 4 hit songs include: St.Thomas, Powaii, Alfie, Moritat.
Sonny Rollins (tenor saxophone), Tetsuya Shimoda (guitar), Bob Cranshaw (electric bass), David Lee (drums), James Mtume (congo drums)
The vinyl plays perfectly like new (Mint) on both sides with no issue.
The vinyl also looks perfectly like new on both sides with bright and luster. No scuffs and no scratches. But both labels show signs of yellow scuffs, under bright light, due to age and moister. Thus, I rated it visually only at VG++. Otherwise, it should have been Mint.
The cover is still in a shrink wrap. Has a small sticker on the back (upper right corner). No split. But there are some yellow stains on white background. Thus, I rated the cover only VG++.
The record is play graded as well as visually. I attempt to grade conservatively, listing all significant flaws.
My grading is as follows: M (perfectly like new), NM, VG++, VG+, VG, VG-, G, G-. You will be satisfied. And I will accept a free return. Please bid with confidence.
