This is the RVG stamped, pressing of SONNY ROLLINS' "A Night at Village Vanguard" on the "47 West 63rd" labels of Blue Note BLP 1581. Musicians include Sonny Rollins — tenor saxophone, Wilbur Ware — double bass, Donald Bailey — double bass on afternoon set, Elvin Jones — drums, Pete LaRoca — drums.
VINYL plays very well, clean. Vinyl surface mint. Ensemble sections are clear, dynamic and strong. No Skips. No locked grooves. Excellent gloss. The "New York" labels are clean. See photos.
COVER is in good shape, Corners worn. Ringwear present. Seams and spine generally clean and solid, minor cracking. Back jacket clean, with stains, ringwear, handwriting in ink. Please see photos.
