Description

"WORKTIME" - Sonny Rollins Quartet - Esquire 32-028 UK Original mono issue. - Another great RARE,RARE,RARE Esquire pressing!! - Beautifully recorded, far superior to it's US counterpart, this one is also in really great condition!!  -  The flipback sleeve, with it's outstanding artwork by Michael Sherlock, is without splits or tears, with minimal edge and corner wear and just a slight 1cm split on opening edge, which has been well repaired and almost invisible.  The disc too is in great shape, with only miniscule surface marks and plays really well!!! So nice to find this MEGA RARE Esquire offering in such condition!! - Recorded almost 50 years ago, this session amazes me and the forward looking genius, that is Sonny Rollins, his awesome sax playing, coupled with his ideas and total brilliance, is a mind blowing listening experience!!!!  Backed so superbly too, with a rhythm section made in heaven, with Ray Bryant, George Morrow and Max Roach, on piano, bass and drums respectively, how could this album fail to succeed.  It is sublime jazz, sublimely played, by sublime players!!!!  A great chance to acquire this MEGA RARE issue of this brilliant LP, DON'T MISS IT!!!!!!!! - Trax are: An awesome, "There's no business like show business", "Paradox", "Raincheck", "There are such things" and finally a storming, "It's all right with me"!!!!!!! PURE BRILLIANCE!!!!!!! - I ship Worldwide, buyer pays shipping at cost. - I can accept payment by: PAYPAL, IPMO's and IMO's drawn
in GB £'s or cash by registered mail. -  UK buyers can also use, PO's or personal cheques.- -
