SONNY ROLLINS QUARTET: SAXOPHONE COLOSSUS (Prestige PRLP 7079, 1957, Mono) – Rare US pressing LP with Black and Yellow, Grooved labels and Bergenfield, NJ address on both labels. RVG mark engraved on the trail-off area of both sides. The lineup includes: Sonny Rollins, tenor sax / Tommy Flanagan, piano / Max Roach, drums / Doug Atkins, bass.
- Cover Condition:VG (some seam, corner and spine wear; sticker tear and faded writing on the back cover)
- Record Condition: VG (the grooved surface looks a bit grayish and has some surface scratches. It still plays very well and much better than it looks, with some not too distracting surface noise/ticking more noticeable in the quieter passages).
