Description
The DCC Compact Classics 180 gram mono vinyl re-issue of Sonny Rollins’ classic 1956 LP Tenor Madness (LPZ-2022) - limited edition # 0673 and mastered in May 1996 by legendary engineer Steve Hoffman using an all vacuum tube cutting system for the warmest, purest analog tone possible.
The cover of this copy is in excellent condition with just a whisper of ring wear, a couple of very minor dents, an equally minor amount of corner impacting, and its limited edition sticker in the lower left-hand corner of the back cover. The insert (featuring both the original 1956 liner notes by Ira Gitler along with the 1969 reissue liner notes by Mark Gardner) is included and is in very fine condition with just a faint record impression and side crease serving as any sort of blemish. The LP itself is near mint.
