Label:   VERVE.  Label is black with silver text.  “Stereophonic” pressing on medium weight vinyl.  Catalog number is V6-8430.

Year:   session date:  1958.   (Early 60s reissue of material originally issued as Sonny Rollins & The Big Brass, on MGM’s Metro-Jazz subsidiary.)

Side Two:  Sonny Rollins – tenor sax;  Henry Grimes – bass;  Charles Wright – drums.

Condition: 

DISC:  Vinyl is NEAR MINT with 100% of original gloss, as clean as can be found.  Appears to have been played one or two times at most, and handled with care.  Labels are clean.  Fidelity is superb.  A gorgeous disc you will never need to upgrade.     

JACKET:   Jacket is nice EXCELLENT.   Front artwork is clean and bright, with a few slight traces of ring wear just beginning to appear.  Nice seams and spine; small “chip” on the bottom seam – not a split.  Light wear at corner tips.  Reverse is clean with no writing or stickers.  Overall a fine jacket to accompany the beautiful disc.
