SONNY ROLLINS BLUENOTE 1558 Vol. 2 Orig. 1957 Deep Groove mono 47 WEST 63RD ST. NYC address.
- DEADWAX SIDE 1: RVG P(EAR) BN-LP-1558-A-2
- DEADWAX SIDE 2: RVG P(EAR) BN-LP-1558-B-1
VINYL:
Side 2: Looks and plays VG++ (EX)
Side 1: G+ has a scratch starting in the middle of the 2nd cut going 1/3rd of the way into
the third cut. Otherwise side 1 would play VG+. On my player the scratch did not skip
but I wouldn't be surprised if it reacted differently on a differently weighted stylus. I
still was quite able to enjoy side one.
SLEEVE:VG+ at the middle edge of the spine there was a couple of slight splits which I carefully
glue repaired then colored black. The spine on this press has no writing. (see last picture)

NM Near Mint. Record and cover appear virtually unmarked. Cover still in shrink.VG++ A hair under near mint may have only a couple of insignificant surface only lines that should cause
only very minimal sound defects. Cover out of shrink otherwise close to perfect
VG+ Used but not abused. Some surface lines. Will have some relatively slight audible imperfections.
Some normal cover wear.
VG… There will be visual imperfections and some audible ones . May be a number of surface only lines or there
might be a small scratch but not one that repeats, Cover will be worn or have some kind of defect.
VG- .. Usually the lowest rating I will list an LP at. Same as VG but defects are more pronounced. May have more than 1 scratch but still not one that repeats. This record will still be enjoyable but there will almost definitely be background sound. I have sold many rare 78s and older acetates at this grade and buyers have almost always been quite pleased. , In this condition flaws will be pictured or noted G+ may have some major defect or defects but is still playable and enjoyable but there will be destractions In this condition flaws will be pictured or noted

price rating
