   SONNY ROLLINS

Volume 1

Blue Note 1542 scarce '57 MONO 2nd state label, 47 W63rd, NYC of his '56 release. RVG, deep grooves and "ears". With VG Blue Note inner sleeve ( bit tattered along top edge.)

Jacket Grade:  VG++ Little wear to cover art. 5" top and 2" lower corner seam splits.
  
Record Grade:   Plays mostly VG+ Little visible play wear. Some light hairline surface marks. "Decision", the opener on side 1, has a spot of surface scratches (as if scraped). This song plays VG- loud and clear, but with definite crackle as stylus passes thru that section. Rest of LP plays fairly loud and clean with a bit of surface noise VG+. Cleaned on VPI.
