D3 / D4 Stamper
Early/2nd pressing with only black and white printing on back cover, no red.
Recorded at Contemporary's studio in Los Angeles March 7, 1957. Liner notes dated June 6, 1957.
Catalog number is C 3530 on cover and C3530 on labels.
Vinyl:
Visual VG (-) there are scratches and scuffs noted. A few tiny feelable scratches. Overall id call it a nice player copy.
Playback is VG (-) no skips or loud poppers, but there is some background noise noted, and some ticks, with some light ticks being repetitive in several spots. Not overpowering, the music really jumps out at you, bass is powerful, sax is holographic. Reviewed with a Shure M35x, mono button, on Technics SL-1200 mk2.
Overall if you are looking for a nice player copy , not dead quiet but this represents very well.
Art VG, front cover is a beauty ( framable quality), back at the bottom edge staining is noted. Top seam is great, spine seam excellent, Bottom seam has good bit of wear but not split. Please see pics.
Original inner sleeve included, but lp ship in a new mofi inner rice sleeve.
