Description
The Sons Of Champlin: "Loosen Up Naturally" (2 LP) 1968, USA/Capitol SWBB-200. Discs are both M- with the original black rainbow labels, they look unplayed! Gatefold sleeve has pieces of clear tape neatly applied to all four corners of the record pockets for strength, and thus they have never split! Might be the first copy of this LP I've ever seen with no seam splits, so somebody had the right idea. There's a small area of discolouration on the back side at the bottom, other than that, this cover is in great shape. It gets a strong VG+ grade. Cover has the word "F*cking" scratched out by hand on both sides, this is definitely a first issue. Also, this LP has the very rare "Give Away" art insert, which is almost always lost as it has no Capitol logo or catalogue number linking it to this release. This is the first stock copy I've ever found with the insert. Here's a complete original issue of the Marin County band's stellar debut LP! I haven't had this set in this condition in at least a decade, and I tread their home stomping ground.
