We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over +22,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Consisting of two long tracks the album and it is 35 wonderful minutes. The music is not at all as sophisticated, as elegant or as tightly arranged as the music of Genesis or Gentle Giant and not nearly as complex. it holds a much more raw, rough edged and loosely played quality. The two suites, are based around engaging memorable melodies tied together into a whole "Modus Operandi" opens up with something truly unique for this album, a cacophony of sounds and screams that are quite avant-garde. Soon follows a shuffling-boogie section (which we by now grown accustomed to) but soon settles into even more enjoyable blues-rock and the track develops into a hard rocking affair where the tension is mounting. It is a wonderful composition that holds a jamming sensation where improvisation takes the center stage, though contained inside a delightful groove. There's a psychedelic section as well, which only proves a well known point: the ingredients in progressive rock can contain many diverse ideas
"Home", the second side-long suite, starts off with bass and percussion before a beautiful melody enters amid soft, trembling vocals coming in,and it's irresistible; simply gorgeous. The sound is somewhat Kinks-ish, only slightly rougher. The track is yet again a builder with dense and denser instrumentation. It really rocks quite hard and intensively, ending after more melodious and beautiful melodies, with blues-rock and a slight return to the initial melody. Fantastic track....
One may suppose that if you're into the meticulous arrangements and delicate harmonies of Nirvana pre-"Local Anesthetic" one may be in for quite a change. The music bears little resemblance to their albums prior to this one. What you get is a raw, rough sounding performance in early progressive rock where psych, blues, hard rock, jazz and (a slight presence of) avant-garde.
Everything you might expect in progressive rock during the formative years of existence. Consisting of melodies and the intricacy of other more complex bands in a blueprint for 1970 era progressive rock where a visionary approach to music breaks the chains and heads into unknown territories. Even IF one may feel less for Nirvana, in this instance one cannot expect anything else than to enjoy and highlight the bands efforts in admiration. A grand album from start to finish only needing a few spins to really desire more of, then again, isn't that the true nature of progressive underground in 1970? A
