Description

This is it – the legendary compilation on everyone’s want list: "Sound Cosmodel", released on the obscure Japanese label Atelier Peoytl in 1984 (catalog # APSP-018). If you’re like me, you’ve only heard about this LP for years but have never found it (or anyone who’s seen one, for that matter). An extremely diverse array of artists are presented, all contributing short pieces that, for the most part, cannot be found anywhere else in their respective catalogs (many of these acts, I’m guessing, only contributed to compilations like this and may never have released whole albums proper).

The copy I’m auctioning is, miraculously, STILL SEALED. The pictures below were taken of my personal copy. The LP comes with a massive 24-page booklet of artwork by each of the artists, presumably meant to be cut into postcards. The booklet is almost 12x12 and is bound in a silver reflective cover. The complete track listing is as follows:

Damn! Double-check your discographies to confirm that the tracks you want are unreleased – I know, for example, that the Z’ev tracks did end up on his box set, but the Nurse with Wound track has never been reissued elsewhere. This album NEVER comes up, and it’s not likely to again soon. Again, this copy is SEALED & UNPLAYED: vinyl, sleeve, booklet and obi strip are all in PERFECT, MINT CONDITION. Serious bidders only, please..

PAYMENT: Here’s the catch: I’ll be out of town from May 12th until June 1st. If you get payment to me before the 10th, I guarantee that I’ll have this in the mail to you before I leave (check my feedback history; there’s never been a problem with shipping or the packaging of anything I’ve sold). PAYPAL preferred but most other forms of payment accepted.

Feel free to email with any questions.
