 SUPERUNKNOWN       A&M  31454 01981       1994

  Soundgarden was one of the first bands to fuze grunge with heavy metal. This is their best album,

  when they finally got it together. Influenced by Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath, Soundgarden

  added new life into the Seatle movement of the mid-nineties. Chris Cornell's vocals are

  outstanding. He went on to form Audioslave, another great band. This record spawned a couple

  of great hits "Black Hole Sun" and "Fell On Black Days". This is a double album that is great from

  side to side to side to side. The title track is fantastic. The desperate "Day I Tried To Live"  is

  awesome. This album is pressed on brilliant orange vinyl. It looks flawless and sounds great

  blasting out of the speakers. The gatefold cover is beautiful. It does have very very little edge

  ware for the perfectionist. If you look very closely you may find some flaws, but you would have

  to be very picky.  A great blast from 1994. Includes a nice seperate and easy to read lyric sheet.
