On offer here is an ULTRA RARE original issue of the DEBUT single by Adelaide – AUSTRALIAN group THE SOUTHERN GENTLEMEN entitled “Leave Myself To Me“.  Both sides were written by one-time group member CRAIG ROBERTS – it must be said that original compositions were highly unusual for an Australian act at the time.  The harmonica is up-front in the mix, which further enhances the listening experience.  Strongly recommended for fans of 1960’s MOODY GARAGE PUNK BALLADS – THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST!

visual: some light paper scuffs—quite acceptable (VG+); audible: HIGHLY ENJOYABLE AND VIBRANT SOUND, despite some underlying surface noise (VG++ to EX); labels: side 1: HARDLY ANY SPINDLE WEAR, writing ‘A SIDE’, sticker/label remnants; side 2: HARDLY ANY SPINDLE WEAR, sticker/label remnants.

M-: Slightly less than MINT.

EX: Very light wear and/or creasing—defects will be noted.

VG++: Slightly less than EXCELLENT.

VG: Some ring-wear and other signs of aging are apparent—defects will be noted.

VG-: Slightly less than VERY GOOD.

G: More obvious ring-wear, seam-splits, stains etc—defects will be noted.
