Description

To me, Spacemen 3 are the best psychedelic band since the original era. As someone who bought all their records back in the day and still take them out to this day, I believe "Taking Drugs To Make Music To Take Drugs To" is the best Spacemen 3 album. Spacemen 3 did a lot of transitions between their albums, but these are raw (perfectly raw!) takes on the first 3 (proper) albums. Spanning their best songs performed cohesively and sounding much better than their live recordings (these songs are simply played through as well, without the live performance's meandering/wandering). Truly a classic album by a classic band!

The tracks on this album are the infamous "Northampton Demos," rehearsal tapes recorded in Rugby January 1986.

Condition is VG+. I tested the copy on 2 stereos and found no problems with skipping or inordinate surface noise. There are visual light scratches on both sides of the album.
