"Basic Musical Library: Radio Transcription Disc produced by The Armed Forces Radio Service.  This disc was issued to radio stations for broadcast only and not available to the general public, very rare!

Disc is World War Two era, circa 1940's

Basic Musical Library program W-29 Spade Cooley & Gang.  Songs include "Tumbleweed" vocal Paul Taylor Chorus, "Oklahoma Is OK With Me" vocal Jimmie Dodd, "Ride Tenderfoot Ride" vocal Paul Taylor Chorus, "Rochester Schottische".  Jimmie Dodd would go on to be the popular host of Walt Disney's "The Mickey Mouse Club" television show

Basic Musical Library program W-30 Texas Bob McReynolds.  Songs include "Flores Street Rag", "Wabash Cannonball", "Cowboy Serenade", "Jesse James".  The first song is an instrumental, the last three songs feature vocals

Disc is in Excellent+ condition with Excellent+ or better sound, beautiful disc  

Please note that 16 inch transcription discs will not play on most standard turntables due to their size.  For $10 I can make a CD dub of the disc for the buyer only
