SPANISH GUITARS OF LAURINDO ALMEIDA –
Capitol SP8521 Top-Logo Heavy Platter



Here’s an early “stereo” release from Capitol that features the Spanish guitar playing of Laurindo Almeida, the two-part and three-part transcriptions all played by him and nicely mixed in the final masters.

Music includes Falla FARRUCA, Debussy CLAIR DE LUNE (awesome!), Bach OUR FATHER WHO ART IN HEAVEN, Ravel MENUET, Chopin VALSE, Granados ZAMBRA, and Rachmaninoff PRELUDE IN C SHARP MINOR, among others.

Brilliantly done, here in a laminated-frontplate cover that only suffers yellowing on back from age. Inside, is the top-logo heavy platter, which should play NM- to VG+.
