PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER). OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.
Rare lot of Sparks on vinyl!! Cool Places 12" is an Allen Zent mastered Specialty pressing on Atlantic from 1983 featuring Jane Wiedlin with the original hype sticker in the top left hand corner on the front!!! Vinyl side 2 is just barely VG with 2 small scuffs that can be felt but one is in the dead wax at the beginning and doesn't touch the grooves. Side 1 is VG+ with a few light paper scuffs. Cover is a nice VG with a small ding on the spine. LP is a RARE original Brian Gardner / Allen Zent mastered Atlantic / I.R.S. pressing from 1983 with SP label suffix and SRC logo stamped in the dead wax (both denoting a Specialty Records Corporation pressing) with original printed inner sleeve with complete lyrics and I.R.S. logo at the TOP of the labels directly above the catalog number!!! A more common Specialty pressing exists with the logo at the bottom of the labels under the song titles. This variant with the logo at the top is much harder to find so don't sleep. LP is a beautiful VG++/NM-. Cover is easily VG+, close to VG++, with a hint of ring. A very nice copy of this rarity.

GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR: FILLER COPY ONLY. LOTS OF SCRATCHES
