Format: 7"vinyl single - Ultra Rare Original UK Piccadilly Records issue of the rarely seen 1966 debut SPECTRES 7"single "I (Who Have Nothing)" c/w "Neighbour,Neighbour". The single comes housed in it's original company sleeve. On offer here,from my own collection,almost without the need for introduction is an ORIGINAL UK FIRST PRESSING of the highly in demand British R&B Freakbeat Mod monster 45 by the mid 60's combo THE SPECTRES a band that, of course, featured Francis Rossi and evolved into The Traffic Jam then finally Status Quo.This very rare mod / freakbeat single is rarely offered for sale as a an original UK pressing!! A classic single which would be a fine addition to any SPECTRES (Status Quo) or 60's mod / freakbeat singles collection.

Labels: VG (Spindle wear with previous owners name 'Barry' written on each side ~ See pics)

Vinyl: VG- (visually) VG+ (aurally) (The 45 has been heavily played with numerous surface marks,scuffs and hairlines,however both sides play very well with just crackles during the run in/out grooves and the first few seconds on each side.There are no jumps,skips or other major playing defects)

Comments: Ultra Rare original 1966 1st edition UK Piccadilly Records first pressing of the legendary pre Status Quo SPECTRES 45 "I (Who Have Nothing)" c/w "Neighbour,Neighbour" . This very rare 7"single is from 1966 issued on the UK Piccadilly label. The record has been heavily played,there is some surface noise evident during the run in grooves at the beginning of each side for a couple of seconds which is not noticeable whilst the record is playing.This is a very RARE ORIGINAL 1966 UK 1st Pressing on the Piccadilly label 7N 35339. Any fan of The Spectres, The Traffic Jam, Status Quo, Psych ,Freakbeat will want to have this in their collection.Both sides are excellent organ heavy freakbeat mod dancer stompers . As stated above the condition of the vinyl  is around VG- .There are numerous light surface marks,but both sides play fine with just crackles during the run in / out grooves that do not seriously detract from the overall sound.The marks don't affect playback as the appearance suggests . The labels have some spindle wear and the previous owners name is inscribed neatly on each side as you can see in the pictures. 

This is a major rarity from the group that eventually became the mighty Status Quo ~ Get this extreme SPECTRES rarity while you can as it is unlikely to turn up again in a long time!!
