Description
The comic genius of Spike Milligan changed the face of radio comedy through The Goon Show.
Spike Milligan's first LP "Milligan Preserved" (Parlophone PCS 3018) was produced by Beatles producer-in-waiting George Martin and issued in 1961 by EMI's Parlophone Records. Most record buyers bought the more common mono release, but a few copies were also pressed in Stereo and released on the collectable Black and Gold Parlophone label of the period. In addition to Milligan the album features Graham Stark, Alan Clare, John Antrobus, Bill Kerr, Valentine Dyall and Paddy Ridgeway (Mrs Milligan) in the following tracks:
