Description

Lots more rare & unusual vinyl at Sugaredpill..... other items

Always happy to combine postage but in the UK please use the 'Basket' function and in Europe and the Rest of the World use the 'continue shopping' option. Wait for an invoice and I will calculate the cheapest postage rate possible.

ARTIST: FRANK PHILLIPS

TITLE: reads The Happy Prince by Oscar Wilde

LABEL: TPL productions 1948 ('Talking book' series with 16 colour plates)

CONDITION: Book is at least VG+ (light cornerwear, disc is EX) There is some damage to the 'folder' at the back of the book which holds the record - see photo #10 for a couple of tears.

OTHER INFORMATION: Rare spoken word version of Wilde's well loved fairy story 'The Happy Prince' read by Frank Phillips. The 'book' comes with 16 colour plates, each one linked to a different part of the story. The record is a 10 inch, playing at 78rpm it is very fragile and will require additional packaging and protection hence the higher postage rate.
