Released by RCA Victor (LPM 1138) label and pressed in Britain, this is a spoken word stereo album. Titled "Charles Laughton In A Reading of 'The Night Of The Hunter,'" Charles Laughton, noted actor who directed the 1955 film accompanied by the music of Walter Schumann, narrates the story of the scary eerie movie. The shiny record test plays in the VG+/NM range. The lightweight intact jacket, which features a front cover photo of Robert Mitchum & a long back cover essay on the film by Davis Grubb, retains clarity.
