Description

This is a original test pressing copy of Spooky Tooth's "Ceremony" LP on A&M.  This and my other LPs offered this week come from the collection of a gentleman who was a DJ from 1969-72.

Condition: Plain brown jacket is sharp and clean with only very minor wear.  Has plain, white round A&M label with the artist, title and catalogue number pasted on upper right and the label copy with tracklisting taped on (most likely by the radio station) lower front.  There's a white sticker upper left that would have been used by the radio station for filing purposes.  There are no marks or stickers on the back.

The vinyl has plain Monarch test pressing labels with "Side 1" and "Side 2" handwritten on them.  Though nobody checked "mono" or "stereo" on the labels, listening reveals that it's definitely a stereo pressing.  Visually it's VG+ with several light, superficial marks and/or scratches and general sleeve rash on both sides.  The most questionable marks, and really the only thing that's beyond "sleeve rash" territory, are two marks found on side 1 track 1 that look like light abrasions, but these don't translate to anything beyond light crackles when listening.  Both sides play better than they look with nothing beyond light surface noise aside from track 1.

Shipping Info: Media Mail to the US is $4, add $1 for each additional LP.  First Class to Canada is $9, add $1.50 for each additional LP.  First Class to Europe & Japan is $18, add $1.50 for each additional LP.

Payment Info: Your paypal payment is due within 7 days of the auction's end.

Be sure to check out my other auctions this week for more rare prog/psych/folk LPs from the same collection, including many radio station promo copies. Over the coming weeks and I'll be auctioning off more of this collection including the following artists: Robbie Basho, The Free Design, Gypsy, David Ackles, Ian Matthews, Pearls Before Swine, Duncan Pain, Keef Hartley Band, Baldwin and Leps, Lovecraft, Sugar Loaf, Sweetwater, and more!

I'm not a full-time eBayer and don't have the time and resources to list more than about 25 items in a week but this ensures that I give everything a cleaning, a thorough examination and a listening before I describe its condition.
