SPOOKY TOOTH Witness - original 1973 UK Island LP, 1st press
Island ILPS 9255, 1973 UK issue, matrix number endings A-1U, B-1U, pink-rimmed palm tree labels; gatefold cover.
Cover: EX/EX+ A gatefold sleeve in tremendous unworn, uncreased condition. The only detraction is some foxing on the front and rear panels, most noticeable on the spine side of the rear panel and the spine itself, with a little on the right inside panel.
Original inner sleeve for this copy was plain paper and is included (artist/title written in one corner, slight scuff, tanned down one edge). Disc is in a new poly-lined inner.
Disc EX/EX+ Outstanding appearance to vinyl – fresh, glossy, no obvious marks. Great labels with only a small amount of very faint spindle marking. Plays through perfectly with excellent sound; a hint of faint noise from dust or static around track breaks and occasionally elsewhere.
