Sehr seltene promotional Picture Disc. Auf der Vorderseite ist das Cover abgebildet und auf der Rückseite eine Werbung für "WHEREHOUSE" records, tapes, videos (siehe Bild oben). Diese Bildplatte wurde in nur minimaler Auflage als Werbeplatte für Wherehouse hergestellt und damals kostenlos an gute Kunden und Geschäftspartner verteilt.

Was sind Promos ?

Promos werden vor der normalen Veröffentlichung in Kleinstauflagen für Musikjournaliste, Radio-DJs und ausgewählte Läden für Rezensionen und zum Radioeinsatz gepresst. Auf der Platte/CD oder dem Cover/Booklet steht immer "For Promotion Only" oder ähnliches. Manchmal sind die Booklets/Cover anders; seltener sind andere Abmischungen enthalten. Speziell bei angesagten Gruppen sind Promos echte Sammlerstücke und erzielen oft hohe Preise.

What are Promos ?

Promos are issued in small quantities for radio-dj's for advance airplay and music journalists for reviews and for selected stores to promote the release. They often have different booklets/sleeves and seldom different mixes. You always find "For Promotion Only" or similar printed on the CD/LP or/and booklet/sleeve. Especially for important groups promos are highly collectable and often reach high prices.

Erhaltungszustand der Platte:    Neu, aber mit dem typischen Picture-Disc Knistern. Auf der Rückseite hat sich die Transferfolie leicht gelöst und die Platte ist dadurch etwas wellig. Ein Abspielen (nur der B-seite) ist nur noch bedingt möglich.

Condition of the record:     New, but with the typical picture disc noises. Only the backside is a bit "wavy" and playing of this side is difficult.

Condition of the sleeve:    Clear picture disc sleeve

Die Tonqualität von Bildplatten kann gegenüber schwarzen Platten etwas abfallen. *** Sound quality of a picture disc may not be comparable to that of a conventional disc.

BESCHREIBUNG DES ARTIKELS

Alle Platten werden erst unter einer starken Strahlerlampe begutachtet und dann auf einem High-End Plattenspieler angespielt. Alle Fotos sind Originalfotos des angebotenen Artikels zum Zeitpunkt des Einstellens.

BEWERTUNG

Wir bewerten alle Platten sehr sorgfältig sowohl akustisch als auch visuell nach den UK RECORD COLLECTOR Standards:

M > MINT : Die Platte ist brandneu ohne jegliche Gebrauchsspuren oder Einschränkungen in der Klangqualität. Das Cover sowie Textblätter, Poster, Booklets usw. sind ebenfalls in perfekter Qualität.

EX > EXZELLENT : Die Platte zeigt nur minimale Abspielspuren und Abstriche an der Klangqualität sind sehr gering. Ähnliches gilt für das Cover.

VG > VERY GOOD : Man sieht der Platte an, daß sie des öfteren abgespielt worden ist; leichte Kratzer und Gebrauchsspuren sind vorhanden. Die Klangqualität ist jedoch noch gut. Das Cover hat Gebrauchsspuren, jedoch keine größeren Schäden.

G > GOOD : Verkaufen wir nur, wenn die Platte sehr selten ist. Bitte in der jeweiligen Artikelbeschreibung nachlesen.

CO > CUT-OUT : das Cover hat ein kleines Loch oder einen Schnitt

VERPACKUNG

Wir nehmen alle Platten für den Versand aus dem Cover, um ein Durchschlagen während des Transports zu verhindern. Jede Platte mit Cover und Innenhülle erhält eine neue, verschließbare Aussenhülle. Wir verschicken nur in neuen, stabilen Spezialkartons mit Verstärkungspappe(n).

All vinyl is graded under very bright lighting and played on a high-tech turntable. All photographs are of the actual item for sale and taken at the time of listing.

GRADING

Records are carefully graded using the UK RECORD COLLECTOR system:

M > MINT : The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

EX > EXCELLENT : The record shows few signs of having been played, but there is little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VG > VERY GOOD : The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

G > GOOD : We do not to sell records that are in less than very good condition, unless they are extremely rare. Please see our individual description for these items.

+ / - : plus and minus allows an even more individual grading

CO > CUT OUT : The cover has a tiny hole or cut

WOC : Writing or stamp on cover

WOL : Writing or stamp on label

PACKAGING
Items are removed from their outer sleeves and supplied in a brand new protective outer sleeve. All articles are shipped in high quality extra thick mailers with cardboard stiffener(s).
