This is a rare SRCS 109 album and the most valuable of the Lyrita english themed and pressed albums. Pressed by Nimbus, of Malcolm Arnold's Scottish, English and Cornish Dances performed by London Philharmonic Orchestra led by Dennis Simons, conducted by Malcolm Arnold himself. Recorded in 1979.  Being a long time inclusion on the TAS (The Absolute Sound magazine) List, this album appreciates in value and is becoming scarcer as the years roll by.  Sought after by Audiophile and Hi Fi buffs the world over.

This one I have started at about 40% of the UK  2006 value guide which is now sold out, (for a more flexible spreadsheet based guide, see ebay seller 'gloriousrecords' in the UK. Great product, I use it daily).

In all the thousands of classical records I have handled, I have only seen this once, here it is, probably never to be repeated by me.

Condition

I have supplied 6 supersize photo's of various aspects, There only odd pops and ticks spasmodically OCCASIONALLY thru out the record, it is 30 yrs old after all, but specific areas of small damage are as follows-

SIDE ONE, Nothing visual, like a new one straight out of the factory seal, test played opening few minutes, no noises

SIDE TWO, Nothing visual, like a new one straight out of the factory seal, test played opening few minutes, no noises

Otherwise only the few isolated pops, all old LP's have.

Record came to me obviously cared for. However I HAVE   treated with LAST "power cleaner" and LAST "record preservative" (said to protect from playing wear for upto 200 'plays'). Most audiophiles such as yourselves are probably already using this or similar, I have just saved you the time and expense.

The cover is very nice,  it has some mild rubbing of the laminated front,  Cardboard rubbing of the surface is very minimal, no real ring wear. 

 ALL seams are clean and no signs of splitting, corners only have very minor wear . Rear is also clean with minimal yellowing, The plain card of the reverse shows very little sign of yellowing as these old white card sleeves from the sixties can do.

The original inner sleeve is only a plain paper, plastic lined sleeve,in good condition and having just cleaned the lp so well, I am supplying a more modern archive quality sleeve with anti stat and no scratching properties.  This is from the modern audiophile company Mobile Fidelity (MFSL) and is standard issue with their vinyl pressings.
